His latest recording (Entente cordial), Mutual understanding,is A fusion of real rumba soukous with mix of reggae, calypso, and hip hop, bringing together The elements of his diverse musical influences. Show do man’s songs are an expression of His love for music, and the joy he feels while performing. Born in Congo Show do man Spent his teenager years performing with different groupes in the city before being recognized in the field of profetionals musiciens such as Gina wa Gina of Zaiko langa langa whom did Realy gave him a training as a singer by exllence before introducing him to his peer. Since Show do man as being performing with big mames like Tabu Ley, Dindo Yogo,Sam manguana Papa Wemba, Koffi Olomide,and many more..... In 1982 Show do man moved to Zurich Switzerland, where he entertained European Audiences with his African rythm and thoughtful lyrics. Settling in Toronto in 1987, show do man has continued to write and perform his songs to the delight of fans from across Canada He has performed in many fuctions and festivals in canada and the usa that his name is famillial to most off the musical organization in canada. To name the few , afrofest,Womad festival,carribana, african festival of washington,carribean bacchanal, Jazz festivals etc.... Show do man speaks many languages includes, English, french, italian, german, and as well some african dialects, lingala, kikongo, and swahili. He incorporates many of these languages in his songs. Each language shapes the songs meaning, and also helps to express diffrent emotions. Show do man also draws on the proverbs of his african heritage. To reinforce the basic themes of his songs. Although the adages are african, their meanings express universal themes of love, freindship, and equality. Show do man has released 5 independent albums. In 1990, he recorded Ermina, in 1992 he released The prodigal son wich was nominated for Juno award as best World beat recording In 1994 he released Trouble trouble, and 1998 he releases Entente cordial “mutual understanding”wich got another nomination for the Juno award, that album was a master peace by itself. Show do man team up with the best of African artists including Papa Wemba, Koffi Olomide,Nyboma and other The record label Makula productions ltd is his label ,distributed by Outside music Canada, in spite of his 1999 car accident wich left him paralyse in the wheelchaire he realease a new album Alpha &Omega, wich is a consumate expression of his varied influenses and experiences as a musicien.
